Influence of the weather on the course of the Battle of Chocim (1621)
Due to summer downpours, the concentration of Turkish troops near Chocim in 1621 was significantly slowed down. On the other hand, the heat in the Commonwealth at the end of August delayed the arrival of Prince Władysław Zygmunt Waza to the border of forces, which had an impact on the plans of the Polish command. Artur Goszczyński writes about the influence of the weather on the course of the battle.
