Complaints as an expression of problems of the inhabitants of the city of Łosice 1956-1975
In the post-war period, the town of Łosice struggled with many social and economic problems. The communal property was plundered by the occupiers, the enterprises could not function because there was a lack of machinery and equipment. The city did not have the funds to rebuild and renovate the houses that survived. All these problems have led to social discontent over time. Residents sent complaints, denunciations and grievances to provincial authorities, television and the press. They demanded housing, work, social justice and a dignified existence. Their reading shows the scale of the problems faced by the city’s inhabitants during the functioning of the Łosice poviat.
